PURPOSE OF THE DEPARTMENT

Computers and computing have revolutionized both the basic sciences and industry, and developments are unthinkable without the achievements of computational science. The aim of the IZTECH Computational Science and Engineering Master’s Program is to train individuals needed in this field by providing world-class education. The program is basically designed to enable students to gain skills such as interpreting the experimental data obtained, understanding the problem using the relevant theory, and developing the optimized computational method necessary for the solution of the problem. Graduates of the CSE program will have the opportunity to pursue careers in a wide range of fields, from basic sciences to industry.

Students admitted to the CSE program with a bachelor’s degree must take at least 7 credits of courses consisting of at least 21 total credits and 120 ECTS points.
